Tales Out of Time is an album by German saxophonist Peter Brötzmann, released in 2004. Musically it is rooted in free jazz and collective improvisation and has a quieter, more melodic approach than much of Brötzmann's earlier, more explosive work, and it dates from a period when he explored softer dynamics and group interplay.
