Elysium is the eleventh studio album by Pet Shop Boys, released in 2012 on Parlophone and recorded in Los Angeles at Capitol Studios with producer Andrew Dawson. A synth-pop work incorporating orchestral elements, it explores themes of ageing, mortality and fame, and was their final album for Parlophone before they launched their x2 label.
