Sonero: The Music of Ismael Rivera is an album by Puerto Rican alto saxophonist Miguel Zenón, released in 2019. The record reimagines the repertoire of Ismael Rivera through a jazz lens, combining Afro-Caribbean rhythms, plena and salsa influences with modern improvisation and arrangements that reflect Zenón's ongoing engagement with Puerto Rican musical traditions and his exploration of cultural identity in his career.
