Musique pour supermarché / Music for Supermarkets
Album by Jean‐Michel Jarre
Musique pour Supermarché (Music for Supermarkets) is a conceptual electronic album by Jean‑Michel Jarre, created for an art exhibition and pressed as a single vinyl copy that was auctioned, with the master plates destroyed; it received a one‑off radio broadcast during which listeners were encouraged to record it. Its sound draws on ambient and experimental electronic textures, and fragments were later reworked into subsequent projects.
