Tierkreis

Tierkreis is a 1975 composition by German composer Karlheinz Stockhausen. The work comprises twelve short melodies corresponding to the signs of the zodiac, originally conceived for music boxes and later arranged for various instruments, and it represents a turn in Stockhausen's later output toward concise melodic cycles and new methods of pitch organisation.
