The Absolute Game is the third studio album by Scottish post-punk band Skids, released in 1980. The record broadened the band's post-punk sound with more melodic pop sensibilities, prominent synthesiser and brass arrangements and a shift away from their earlier raw punk edges, marking a transitional moment towards a more stylistically varied direction in their career.
