The album continues her exploration of electroclash and dance-punk, featuring abrasive synthesiser lines, propulsive beats and explicit, confrontational lyrics that emphasise themes of gender and sexuality within a more rock‑inflected electronic framework following a six-year gap since her previous studio album.
