Violin Concerto in D minor, Op. 47 is a violin concerto by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius, composed in 1904 and revised in 1905. It is characterised by sweeping lyricism, Nordic folk-inflected motifs and demanding solo technique, exemplifying Sibelius's mature orchestral language and representing his principal contribution to the violin concerto repertoire.
