Above the Weeping World is the third studio album by Finnish melodic death metal band Insomnium, released in 2006. Musically, it builds on the band's melodic death metal roots with slow to mid tempo arrangements, layered guitar melodies, atmospheric keyboards and a mix of harsh and clean vocal passages, and it followed their first two albums by expanding song length and the scale of their arrangements in the band's catalogue.
