First Light

First Light is an album by American trumpeter Freddie Hubbard, released in 1971. The music was a move away from his earlier hard bop approach and blended orchestral textures, electric keyboards, soulful grooves and fusion-influenced improvisation; the release came during a period when many jazz artists adopted funk and studio orchestration.
