Symphony No. 8 in E-flat major is a symphonic work by Austrian composer Gustav Mahler, completed in 1906 and first performed in 1910. Notable for its vast forces and fusion of late-Romantic orchestral writing with large choral and solo vocal elements, the work exemplifies Mahler's late style and represents a large-scale experiment in choral-symphonic form at the turn of the 20th century.
