Volunteers is the fifth studio album by American rock band Jefferson Airplane, released in 1969. It is a blend of psychedelic rock and folk-rock with grittier guitar tones, overt political lyrics, driving rhythms and a rawer production that followed the band's earlier, more psychedelic releases and reflected the late 1960s political climate.
