Diamond Dogs
Album by David Bowie
Diamond Dogs is David Bowie's 1974 studio album on RCA Records, a concept album set in a post-apocalyptic city and partly influenced by George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty-Four. It blends glam rock with darker art-rock and proto-punk elements and marked his move away from the Spiders from Mars line-up, with Bowie handling many instrumental parts.
First released: March 1974
