Shout is Devo’s sixth studio album, released in 1984 by Warner Bros. Records, on which Devo emphasise digital sampling and the Fairlight CMI, pushing their new wave and synth-pop sound further into electronic territory. It was their final album for Warner Bros., and explores themes of de‑evolution and technology.
