The Mass in B minor, BWV 232, is a musical setting of the Latin Mass by German composer Johann Sebastian Bach, compiled and completed in 1749. A large-scale Baroque sacred work, it brings together earlier movements and newly composed material in a rich tapestry of contrapuntal choruses, solo arias and instrumental writing, representing one of the culminating syntheses of Bach's vocal and liturgical output at the end of his life.
