Horses in the Sky is the third studio album by Canadian post-rock collective Thee Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band, released in 2005. Musically it is rooted in post-rock and chamber rock and uses sparse spoken vocals alongside bowed strings and electric guitar textures that shift between quiet, minimal arrangements and sudden loud noise-driven climaxes, and it follows the band's move from mainly instrumental recordings to works with greater vocal presence and more direct themes.
