Shadows of the Dying Sun is the sixth studio album by Finnish melodic death metal band Insomnium, released in 2014. It has melodic death metal with melancholic melodies, layered guitar harmonies and atmospheric keyboards, and it follows the band's previous album with longer compositions and richer arrangements.
