To the Threshold of Silence is an album by American ambient musician Steve Roach, released in 1993. It consists of extended, meditative ambient soundscapes built from sustained synthesiser drones and evolving textural layers, representing a continuation of Roach's exploration of immersive, contemplative electronic music in the early 1990s.
