Fairport Convention is the debut studio album by English folk rock band Fairport Convention, released in 1968. Musically, it uses American and British folk sources within an electric band format with close vocal harmonies and shows the start of the group's shift from folk-pop covers to a more traditional folk rock direction on later albums.
