Inner City Blues is the debut studio album by American jazz saxophonist Grover Washington Jr., released in 1971. It is a soul-jazz record with early jazz-funk elements, warm tenor saxophone lines, rhythmic grooves and electric textures, and it set the direction of Washington's subsequent work toward jazz-soul crossover.
