Symphony No. 2 is the second symphony by German conductor and composer Wilhelm Furtwängler, composed in 1946. The large-scale, late-Romantic work features expansive orchestral writing, dense counterpoint and wide dynamic contrasts, representing a statement of Furtwängler's mature symphonic style in the immediate post-war period.
