Open Road is the debut solo album by English singer-songwriter Gary Barlow, released in 1997. Musically it combines pop and adult contemporary styles with piano-led balladry, mid-tempo pop arrangements and orchestral touches, marking Barlow's transition from his role in the boy band to a solo artist and setting the tone for his subsequent solo work.
