Talking Back to the Night is the third solo studio album by English musician Steve Winwood, released in 1982. The record continues Winwood's exploration of synthesiser-driven pop and blue‑eyed soul with layered synthesiser textures, smooth production and a blend of rock and R&B influences, marking a transitional period between his earlier solo work and the more radio-friendly sound he adopted later in the 1980s.
