Die Vier Jahreszeiten (The Four Seasons) is a set of four violin concertos by Antonio Vivaldi, published in 1725 as part of his Op. 8 collection. The works exemplify early-18th-century Baroque programme music, featuring vivid solo violin writing against ritornello orchestral textures that convey seasonal imagery through tempi, rhythms and instrumental effects, and they form part of Vivaldi's contribution to the violin concerto repertoire.
