Suites from Petrouchka and The Firebird are orchestral suite arrangements by Igor Stravinsky, drawn from his ballets Petrouchka (1911) and The Firebird (1910, revised 1919). They exemplify Stravinsky's early modernist style, characterised by sharp rhythmic drive, bold orchestral colour and the incorporation of Russian folk elements, and occupy a pivotal place in his development and in early 20th-century orchestral repertoire.
