The Animals is the debut studio album by English rock band The Animals, released in 1964. Musically it draws on rhythm and blues and rock with raw, organ- and harmonica-driven arrangements and gritty lead vocals, and it marked the band's emergence during the British Invasion, helping to establish their presence in the 1960s R&B scene.
