Working on a Dream is a studio album by American singer-songwriter Bruce Springsteen, released in 2009. Musically it blends heartland rock, pop-rock and roots influences into an often upbeat, melodic sound with fuller arrangements, marking a move away from the darker, more politically charged material that immediately preceded it while pointing toward a later return to more stripped-back, folk-rooted work.
