Belonging

Belonging is a studio album by Norwegian saxophonist Jan Garbarek, released in 1974. The record features spacious, Nordic-tinged jazz with prominent saxophone melodies, understated dynamics and atmospheric, chamber-like textures, and it represents an early shift in Garbarek's career toward the ethereal sound that would come to characterise much of his later work and influence the development of European jazz.
