Jon Christensen

Jon Christensen was a Norwegian jazz drummer from Oslo who began his career in the early 1960s and became associated with the European jazz scene. His playing emphasised colour, space and subtle rhythmic interaction, and he featured extensively on ECM Records recordings that helped shape the sound of Nordic jazz and European improvised music.
