Cello Sonatas Nos. 1-5
Album by Ludwig van Beethoven & Josef Chuchro & Jan Panenka
Cello Sonatas Nos. 1-5 is a set of five sonatas for cello and piano by Ludwig van Beethoven, composed between 1796 and 1815. Spanning Beethoven's early to late creative periods, the works range from Classical-era clarity and balanced dialogue between cello and piano to more compact, introspective textures and formal experimentation that broadened the expressive and technical scope of chamber music for the instrument.
