Jan Panenka

Jan Panenka was a Czech classical pianist born in Prague who began his career in the mid-20th century, performing as a soloist and chamber musician within the central European classical tradition. He specialised in a broad classical repertoire with particular attention to Czech composers, balancing solo recital work, chamber music and accompaniment while also teaching and contributing to the post-war Czech musical scene.
