This single is by The Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in 1968. Musically, it featured Hendrix's electric-guitar-led reinterpretation of a folk-rock composition, blending psychedelic and blues-rock sonics with inventive studio techniques, and characterised the group's move towards heavier, more textured arrangements in their late-1960s work.
