4 Suites for Lute
Album by Johann Sebastian Bach & Eduardo Fernández
The Four Suites for Lute are a set of four suites by Johann Sebastian Bach, composed c. 1720. They are Baroque instrumental works written for plucked-string instruments and frequently performed on lute, guitar or lute-harpsichord, consisting of dance-derived movements and contrapuntal textures that reflect Bach's adaptation of solo instrumental forms within his broader compositional output.
