El Malo is a studio album by American trombonist and bandleader Willie Colón, released in 1967. The record presents early New York salsa characterised by trombone-led arrangements, Afro-Caribbean rhythms and urban sonorities, and occupies an early, formative place in Colón's career and the development of the salsa movement.
