Karma

Karma is a studio album by American saxophonist Pharoah Sanders, released in 1969. It is a key example of spiritual jazz, characterised by extended modal improvisation, free-jazz intensity, dense textures and influences from African and Eastern musical traditions, and it marked a pivotal development in Sanders's move towards sustained, ecstatic and meditative forms that helped define his late-1960s direction.
