Karasu: 13 Japanese Birds, Pt. 4 is the fourth release in the 13 Japanese Birds series by Japanese noise artist Merzbow, released in 2002. The release continues Merzbow's exploration of harsh noise and electroacoustic textures, emphasising dense layers of feedback, distortion and granular processing and representing a concept-driven phase in his career focused on thematic experiments with naturalistic and avian sounds.
