Windmill Tilter: The Story of Don Quixote is the debut studio album by Canadian jazz trumpeter and composer Kenny Wheeler, released in 1969. The album presents an extended suite scored for a mid-sized jazz orchestra that blends modern jazz harmonies, lyrical trumpet writing and orchestral textures, and it marks Wheeler's debut as a leader and an early compositional statement within the British and European jazz scene.
