Acting Very Strange is the second solo studio album by English musician Mike Rutherford, released in 1982. The album adopts a pop-rock and new wave-influenced sound characterised by prominent synthesiser textures, guitar-driven arrangements and Rutherford taking on lead vocal duties, marking a stylistic shift from his work in Genesis toward a more song-oriented solo approach.
