Album by Carl Maria von Weber & Karl‐Heinz Steffens & Bamberger Symphoniker & Radoslaw Szulc
Clarinet Concertos Nos 1 and 2 and the Concertino are a set of clarinet concertos by German composer Carl Maria von Weber, composed between 1811 and 1816. They are early Romantic works characterised by virtuosic solo writing within lyrical themes and colourful orchestral accompaniment, and they played a role in establishing the clarinet as a prominent solo instrument in early 19th-century repertoire.
