Daydream Nation is a double album by Sonic Youth, released in 1988 on Enigma in the US and Blast First in the UK, recorded at Greene St Recording and Sorcerer Sound in New York, and co-produced by the band with Nick Sansano. Drawing on noise rock, alternative rock and art punk, it features extensive use of alternate guitar tunings, layered feedback and long-form structures.
