Turandot is the final opera by Italian composer Giacomo Puccini, left unfinished at his death and premiered posthumously in 1926. Musically it features late-Romantic orchestration, expansive vocal writing and colourful orchestral textures, representing the culmination of Puccini's late style and his exploration of exoticism within the operatic repertoire.
