Dr. Byrds & Mr. Hyde is The Byrds’ seventh studio album, released in 1969 by Columbia Records and produced by Bob Johnston, and it is the first to feature the line-up of Roger McGuinn, Clarence White, Gene Parsons and John York with McGuinn as the sole remaining original member. The album blends country rock, psychedelic rock and folk rock, with themes of duality reflected in its title.
