Back to Balboa is a studio album by American jazz pianist and bandleader Stan Kenton, released in 1958. The music is big band jazz with strong brass writing, reed voicings, dense harmonic colours and orchestral sonorities, and it came during a late 1950s phase in Kenton's career when he pursued larger-scale arrangements.
