It blends traditional Arabic maqam modes and oud-centred melodic writing with chamber-jazz instrumentation and spacious, contemplative arrangements that intertwine modal improvisation with subtle rhythmic and harmonic support from piano, double bass and percussion, continuing Brahem's exploration of intersections between Arab classical music and modern jazz.
