Flute Concertos
Album by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart & Judith Hall & Philharmonia Orchestra & Peter Thomas
Flute Concertos is a set of two concertos for solo flute and orchestra by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, composed in 1777–78. They feature Classical-era clarity, lyrical melodic writing for the solo flute and conventional three-movement concerto structures, and they form a standard part of Mozart's wind repertoire and of the classical flute repertoire.
