Destiny is the sixth solo studio album by American singer Chaka Khan, released in 1986. Musically, the album blends R&B, funk and pop with synthesiser-based arrangements and electronic rhythms, and it continued Khan's move from her earlier funk-oriented records toward a more contemporary R&B and pop sound.
