Nocturnes Nr. 11-20
Album by Fryderyk Chopin & Tamás Vásáry
Nocturnes Nos. 11–20 is a set of piano nocturnes by Polish composer Frédéric Chopin, composed between 1830 and 1846. They showcase lyrical, intimate piano writing characteristic of Romantic-era nocturnes, featuring expressive melodic lines, chromatic harmony and refined ornamentation, and trace Chopin's development from early lyricism to greater harmonic and structural sophistication within his mature output.
