Violin Concerto, Op. 36 is a violin concerto by Austrian composer Arnold Schoenberg, completed in 1936. The work employs Schoenberg's twelve-tone technique within a late-Romantic orchestral framework, featuring angular melodic lines, dense chromatic harmonies and shifting rhythms that reconceive traditional concerto form and reflect his development of serial methods during the 1930s following his emigration from Austria.
