McLean’s Scene

McLean's Scene is an album by American alto saxophonist Jackie McLean, released in 1959. The music is rooted in hard bop and has blues-inflected phrasing alongside horn-led arrangements that bridge his earlier bebop style with later, more exploratory recordings.
