Sound of White Noise is the sixth studio album by American heavy metal band Anthrax, released in 1993. The album saw the band move away from their earlier thrash metal approach toward a heavier, groove-orientated sound with alternative metal influences and darker, more textured production, and it marked the debut of the band's new vocalist, representing a turning point in their career.
